Overview

As the Part-time Electro-Mechanical Technology Instructor you will lead instruction within our Electro-Mechanical Associate Degree Program. In collaboration with Business and Industry, you will lead a college credit based flexible learning environment to meet the changing needs of this growing industry. Instruction will include the areas of:

 

Seeking an instructor to teach:

 

Programming Fundamentals course will be offered Mondays and Wednesday from 10:00 to 12:25 a.m.

 

Courses cover 5 weeks of the Spring Semester and run for approximately 27 hours.

 

Responsibilities

  1. Lead instruction and student assessment, ensuring students are working toward the competencies of defined course and program learning outcomes.
  2. Collaborate with Business & Industry and Secondary Education to ensure the development of a high quality advanced technological student pipeline for today’s Advanced Manufacuring & Agricultural sectors.
  3. Collaborate with instructors, advisors and staff in a team effort to help drive student success in the new teaching and learning environments.
  4. Develop curricula, assessments, lab projects and assess other materials, , enhancing this student centered flexible technological learning approach, including on-line, face-to-face and project-centered lab environments.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired. (Equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree is at least 7 years of related work experience, and 14,000 hours.)
  2. A minimum of two (2) years work experience with Integrated Advanced Manufacturing Systems (5 years preferred).

 

Desired Qualifications:

  1. Work in the advanced manufacturing or agricultural industries.
  2. Previous post-secondary teaching experience
