As the IT Networking Instructor you will lead instruction within our IT Networking Associate Degree Program. In collaboration with Business and Industry, you will lead a college credit based flexible learning environment to meet the changing needs of this growing industry.


  1. Lead instruction and student assessment, ensuring students are working toward the competencies of defined course and program learning outcomes.
  2. Design, develop and maintain online and classroom based learning content, lab projects and assessments, as part of a curricular development team. Work to enhance this student centered flexible technological learning approach, including on-line resources such as: Quick Start Guides, How-to videos and promote an industry recognized project-centered lab environment.
  3. Collaborate with Business & Industry and Secondary Education to ensure the development of high quality well prepared students for today’s IT internships and positions.
  4. Collaborate with other instructors, advisors and staff in a team effort to help drive student success in the new teaching and learning environments.


Minimum Qualifications:


  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology field. (Master’s Degree in Information Technology preferred.)
  2. CCNA or CCNP required.
  3. A minimum of four (4) years work experience with IT Networking required (5 years preferred.)


Desired Qualifications:

  1. Previous post-secondary teaching experience
  2. CCNA certified instructor in the Cisco Networking Academy, in order to teach the Cisco networking courses and use the Cisco Networking Academy curriculum/materials.
