The Dean of Manufacturing, Apprenticeship, Technology, and Transportation (MATT) oversees manufacturing and transportation related educational and training programs that serve students at multiple locations. This position provides leadership to students, staff and faculty, to ensure student success, effective use of physical and human resources, and high-level relations with district industry, schools, trade organizations and government agencies. This position reports to the Vice President of Academic Affairs.
The dean will: oversee day-to-day operations of the division; coordinate with faculty and staff; and address student conduct or grievance issues. Particular areas include: continuous improvement processes; program assessments and evaluations; faculty and staff evaluations; budget development and management; equipment and facility oversight; and coordination across divisions within Academic Affairs and the college. The dean will also focus on: growing articulations with schools; strengthening advisory committees; responding to labor market information trends; and supporting faculty growth and development.

Partner with Business & Industry
Develop and administer budgets for the Division
Direct, support, and evaluate division staff.
Assist with program related student issues.
