Position maintains fixed asset database, including collection of information and entering data into Banner. Processes expense reports in accordance with College policies. Reviews P-card statements for accuracy and verify supporting documentation.


This is a part-time position that will average 22 hours per week.  Days and hours can vary based on availabity, but some flexiblity will be need to ensure coverage.


  1. Process fixed asset information including:
    • Gather fixed asset information including model numbers, serial numbers, date of purchase and amount of purchase.
    • Enter information on fixed assets into Banner, including new purchases, disposals and changes to current assets.
    • Perform periodic physical inventory of fixed assets on rotating basis for all College departments.
  2. Review P-Card Statements and related supporting documentation to ensure back up documentation matches charges and shows detail of what was purchased to verify no taxes were charged.
  3. Process travel expense reports for all College employees.
    • Verify all needed information is completed on Travel Authorization Report and subsequent expense report.
    • Verify all required receipts are submitted for each travel expense report and verify the mathematical accuracy of the travel expense report and the account distribution.
    • Communicate directly with the employee to request any missing details and information to process the travel expense report.
  4. Assist with mailings including generating, printing and mailing of correspondence.
  5. General file maintenance for expense report, fixed assets, and payroll role files as necessary.
  6. Provide receptionist coverage to the District Administration Building as necessary.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  1. Strong working knowledge of MS office including Excel and Word.
  2. Strong attention to detail with the ability to understand procedures and ensure compliance.
  3. Strong clerical skills.
  4. Experience working with diverse populations.


Education & Experience:

  1. Associate Degree in Accounting or Administrative Support or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. One year office experience, preferably in accounting or office support role.
