Provide leadership for enrollment management and student success with a focus on equity and best practices within the Guided Pathways framework:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of enrollment management from point of inquiry through completion. Supervise related programming at all sites with an emphasis on student growth, retention, and success.
- Identify best practices and implement them to increase student enrollment, retention, and success.
- Direct process improvements that enhance efficiencies, allow for a seamless student onboarding experience, and contribute to student success.
- Provide oversight to ensure College policies and procedures are developed and followed.
- Provide leadership to the Student Success Committee and the Student Enrollment Plan.
- Strategize and implement solutions to address gaps in enrollment and student success data.
- Advise College Leadership on matters related to enrollment management and retention.
- Participate on the Student Services Leadership team; provide insight on the direction of the department.
Provide leadership/supervision to the Enrollment and Advising Teams
- Direct work appropriately among staff and evaluate the effectiveness of work division; establish work priorities to align with enrollment and partnership goals.
- Provide supervision to the Enrollment and Advising teams; Responsible for hiring, training, coaching, and supporting staff through direct supervision and professional development/training support.
Lead activites related to Advising, Recruitment, and K-12 initiatives
- Oversee, develop and manage the College’s Strategic Enrollment Management Plan and the cross-functional efforts, including data evaluation, plan development, direct implementation, and ongoing assessment.
- Provide enrollment reports; analyze data, and determine enrollment-related decisions accordingly.
- Manage the technology platforms to support recruitment and retention goals (CRM and Early Alert System).
- Oversee new student onboarding experience for students, including special populations such as high school, transfer, dislocated, and military veterans.
- Develop, implement, and assess programming directed towards students needing additional support including underprepared, probation, students with challenges transitioning to college, and students with disabilities.
- Oversee the departments of Recruitment for recruitment, community outreach, high school visits, and all enrollment management efforts at BTC.
- Lead efforts to provide comprehensive career exploration planning and goal setting for all students.
- Support campus-wide and community resource referrals to ensure successful student transition and support.
- Collaborate with the Marketing department to ensure recruitment and retention related materials and communication plans are in alignment with marketing and enrollment plans.
- Collaborate with Academic Affairs and Workforce and Community Development regarding student success, dual credit, and college-wide recruitment and retention initiatives.
Lead K-12 Relationship Efforts
- In collaboration with Early College Specialist, oversee the development of dual credit pathways and opportunities for students to have access to BTC.
- Build and maintain relationships with K-12 administrators, faculty, and staff through consistent communication and meetings.
- Represent BTC in K-12 initiatives, activities, and planning meetings. Respond to K-12 needs creatively and strategically to increase collaborative opportunities.
- Ensure Recruitment staff and Early College Specialist are meeting the goals and expectations of K-12 relationships.
- Work internally to improve processes that affect K-12 administrator and K-12 student experiences with BTC.
Plan, develop, and manage the department budget, including grants and operational budgets, in accordance with College procedures and guidelines.
