Under the supervision of the Director of Campus Safety, Security, and Risk Management, this position is responsible for responding to calls for security related needs and proactive patrols. Work hours will vary based on coverage needs within the Campus & Security Office.   If candidate meets qualifications for being Armed, this position would be an Armed Security Officer, rate of pay would start at $25 per hour.   This part-time security positions will be have varied hours to cover needs within department, and will average up to 20 hours per week. Role will also provide evenings and/or Saturday coverage as needed.  Coverage may be at Central Campus or outlying campus location.     This position will be open until filled, the recruitment may close without further notice. Position will serve as the lead administrator of Blackboard, the College’s Learning Management System (LMS), and coordinate related instructional technologies.  Through the effective application of performance-based instructional design theories and application, this position works as a member of the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning to assist faculty in the design of high-quality courses in multiple modalities that support student success and retention.  Position develops and conducts computer software and hardware related training activities on a wide variety of topics and subjects.  Responsibilities include teaching in a variety of formats including face-to-face, online, self-paced, and self-enroll modules in Blackboard and through Video Technology (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams, etc.).  Position will oversee the learning management system support for instructors.   This position will be open until filled, with a first review date of March 18, 2024.  After this date, the recruitment may close without further notice. As the Men’s Golf coach you will be responsible for providing mentorship, support, and expertise to enhance performance, foster skill development, and promote a positive and collaborative environment. The Intern will assist new and current students to help them achieve their academic and career goals. The goal of this position is to provide the intern with an experience that exposes them to an academic advisor role at Blackhawk Technical College.   Position will average 10 to 15 hours per week, the position will work the Summer of 2024 and will end around September 1, 2024.    

Position is the lead campus supervisor covering weekend needs at the Central Campus. This includes oversight to scheduled security officers, responding to calls for service; and investigating complaints. If qualified to be armed, position will lead the Armed Response. Interacts with all staff, students, and College leadership, local law enforcement agencies, fire departments, and appropriate agencies on matters related to safety and security.    Position will also cover vacation and evening coverage within the Security Office. 

Blackhawk Technical College is seeking candidates to Lab Assistant in our Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.  Candidates may be asked to laboratory supervision and evaluation at the Blackhawk Technical College Central Campus, as well as at clinical affiliates.
