The Clinical / Field Coordinator is a part-time (average 10 – 15 hours per week during academic semester), position is responsible for the coordination, oversight, and evaluation of all clinical and field education components of the EMS programs. Position focuses on clinical and field operations, student placement, site compliance, and partnership management to ensure adherence to CoAEMSP, CAAHEP, Wisconsin DHS, and NREMT standards. The position is responsible for developing an effective system to track and document the program-required clinical/field experiences to increase program enrollment capacity, student success, and accreditation compliance.
Under the direct supervisor of the Facilities Director and Maintenance Technician III, the grounds/maintenance employee will perform works to maintain the function and appearance of the campus facilities of Blackhawk Technical College.
Position will average 10 - 15 hours per week.
Position oversees a scheduled on campus lab experience for the surgical technology program.
Position will average 15 to 20 hours per week during academic year, flexible hours based on availability.
Under the direction of the Fire & EMS Coordinator, this part-time Lab assistant position will provide support to EMS classes. Duties include setting up and tearing down for pratical evolutions and assisting the instructor with instruction during practical sessions and testing students out on skills using the State EMS grids.
Under the direction of the Administrative Chair for Human service, Fire & EMS programs, this part-time Lab Asssistant position will provide support and to Credit and non credit fire classes. Duties include setting up and tearing down for pratical evolutions and assisting the instructor with instruction when requested for classes on and off campus locations.
