Position will be responsible for leading student recruitment activities to raise awareness of program offerings at Blackhawk Technical College resulting in student enrollment. Position will meet with prospective students individually, in groups, and facilitate large presentations to provide information on programs, enrollment, and career opportunities to prospective students. The position is responsible for overseeing the management of Blackhawk Technical College's athletic teams, club sports, student wellness programs, and transportation services. Key duties include hiring, training, and supervising coaches, and collaborating with other college departments to enhance athletics, club sports, and student wellness initiatives. The role also partners with the BTC Foundation to coordinate fundraising efforts to support athletics. Additionally, the role oversees the College's shuttle bus services, coordinating daily staffing and operations to ensure timely student pick-up and drop-off.
Position is responsible for coordinating the recruitment and admissions functions of the College. Position ensures student progression through the enrollment funnel to meet established recruitment and enrollment goals. Position has an active recruitment territory and coordinates the recruitment schedule and activities of the recruitment team. Position will oversee the recruitment and admissions budget. Position will initiate and evaluate recruitment, admissions, and career exploration practices through a diversity, equity, and inclusivity lens, while collaborating with others across the Student Services division and throughout the College.
Role works within Enrollment Services to assist in the processing of admission/enrollments of students, verifying compliance with rules, regulations, and polices. Respond to inquiries, provide information, and advise on options and alternatives in pursuit of an informed decision concerning educational goals. Organize and perform high level information processing activities for Enrollment Services, and as needed for financial aid, records, and registration.
Position may be scheduled to provide coverage on evenings and weekends.
The Intern will assist new and current students to help them achieve their academic and career goals. The goal of this position is to provide the intern with an experience that exposes them to an academic advisor role at Blackhawk Technical College.
Position will average 10 to 15 hours per week, the position will work the Summer of 2025 and will end in late August.
Under the direction of the Administrative Chair for Human service, Fire & EMS programs, this part-time Lab Asssistant position will provide support and to Credit and non credit fire classes. Duties include setting up and tearing down for pratical evolutions and assisting the instructor with instruction when requested for classes on and off campus locations.
Student Security will provide general security to campus. Candidate will need to interact with all staff, students and college leadership to ensure a safe work environment throughout the campus.
Law Enforcement Program Role Player will assist lead instructors within the Law Enforcement Academy in facilitation of the Scenarios. Individuals will assist in the acting through of the scenarios for the Law Enforcement Academy.
This is a limited part-time position as it will only have hours a few times during the semester to meet the needs of the Law Enforcement Academy.
